Jeff Ridley

Chief Logistics Officer, Jeff Ridley, CJF, TE has been a farrier for 15 years. He obtained his Certified Journeyman Farrier status with the American Farrier’s Association in 1996. In 2003, Jeff successfully met the requirements of the AFA’s Therapeutic Endorsement program. Jeff also serves as a tester for the AFA’s certification program and travels the country testing fellow farriers as they strive for excellence. Jeff served as President of the Iowa Professional Farrier’s Association for 4 years. During his tenure as President of the IPFA, he also served as Board of Director’s representative with the American Farrier’s Association, thus serving with the Executive Committee from the fall of 2004 until the spring of 2006. In addition, Jeff worked closely with the production of the AFA’s TV program, NO FOOT NO HORSE. Jeff enjoys competing at forging and horseshoeing competitions, which he does on a local, national and international basis. He also enjoys putting on clinics for fellow farriers and makes himself available for lectures and guest appearances throughout the country and abroad. Jeff remains active as a facilitator with the American Association of Equine Practicioners and American Farrier's Association vet-farrier short course lectures, which consist of educating veterinarian students on the finer points of equine podiatry. Jeff and his wife Julie, along with their daughter, Josey, own and operate an equine boarding facility, Windy Acres, in Leighton, Iowa.
