Julie Ridley

Julie Ridley is from Leighton, Iowa, where she lives with her husband, Jeff, and their daughter, Josey. Julie's primary job is being mom, however she also works full-time from home, operating a full-care horse boarding facility on their acreage. Having been involved with horses since a very young age, Julie is right at home caring for horses and their owners. Julie is also active in Ridley's Horseshoeing through scheduling, record keeping and customer service, as well as horse holding now and then. She manages the details involved in hosting clinics that have been held in Jeff's shop over the years, providing airport shuttles, propane runs, meals, and in a pinch converted their 3 bedroom/1 bathroom home into a bed and breakfast.

Julie has a BA degree in Psychology and previously provided counseling to children and their families through private practice.

Julie is Membership Coordinator within World Championship Blacksmiths. Julie facilitates WCB membership through the office, providing customer service, registering competitors and vendors for events, and coordinating member services. Her valuable skills working with people and an eye for detail help make customer service number one!
